1:1 Support

You’ll be my only client during your build slot. My only priority will be to create a website you love and deliver it on time. I’ll be fully available to respond to any questions you may have

E-Commerce Functionality

Both packages include the option to create an online store where you can ell products and services, take payments and fulfill orders with ease.

Video Handover and Post-Build Priority Support

Once your website is ready to launch we’ll have a recorded handover session where I will take you through every element of your site. You’ll also receive a minimum 30 day priority support membership.

 

Intuitive CMS

Squarespace websites are already equipped with the functionality to easily update and maintain. I’ll also create custom templates for products, blog posts etc. to make the process even simpler.

Mobile Responsive

Websites designed to look great on every device out of the box without the need to maintain different versions for different screen widths.

SEO Optimised

Websites with high ranking capabilities and built to endure high traffic. I’ll follow SEO best practices to allow Google to start ranking your site as soon as possible.

 

Pre-Build Questionnaire

Once you’re booked you’ll receive some questionnaires where you can dictate how your site will look and share your brand assets.

Comprehensive Analytics

Use Squarespace’s built-in analytics to track how your website performs. I’ll take you through the analytics section in detail so that you can identify opportunities for growth.

Domain and Email Set-Up

I’ll help you set up your professional web address and custom professional email . If you already have these I can assist with connecting your domain to your Squarespace site and audit your custom email to better avoid spam filters.

The Process

Designing your website is a big project and a big decision for your business. It’s also an exciting one. It’s an opportunity to create a website that will enhance your business, be that selling products, building an audience or generating new leads. This 5 step collaborative process will build a website that works for you and your business needs

 

1.

The Call

Set up a free consultation call to tell me about your business and your website or design requirements. We will talk about your existing website, if you have one, your business, what you are aiming to achieve and how we can create a site that works for you.

 
 

2.

The Proposal

After our call, I will send you a written proposal outlining the costs and the steps involved in working with me. Once you agree to work together, I will send you an invoice for 50% of the fee which will book you into my design diary for an agreed start date.

3.

The Content

I try to make the design process as straight forward as possible. You’ll need to prepare your site’s content and imagery and I’ll take a number of steps to streamline this process effectively.

Before our design start date I will send across a number of forms, where you can add your copy, images and decide on layouts. The forms will include clear instructions and visuals to give you a better understanding of how the content will appear on your site before it gets there. Your progress will be saved automatically so you can always come back to it later.

 
 

4.

The Build

The build process will take place over 2 weeks from the agreed start date.

  • Monday-Thursday: This is where you can sit back and relax. I’ll build out the entire site with the content provided, so you can get on with running your business.
    Friday: I will send you a link to the site and you can browse through the site normally on a computer, phone, or tablet. I’ll also provide you with a unique link to the site so you can leave feedback.

  • Monday-Wednesday: This week is all about implementing your feedback. From the link I provide you, you will be able to post your feedback directly on the site like sticky notes. No long email chains required. Last calls for feedback will be EOD on Wednesday of Week 2 to ensure all changes can be implemented prior to launch
    Thursday - The Soft Launch: The Soft Launch: I’ll invite you to the backend of the site so you can make edits and maintain the site in the future. I’ll guide you through the process of selecting a Squarespace plan for hosting. We’ll then make the site public for some final testing. We’ll place test orders if applicable and verify the site with Google Search Console.

5.

The Launch

Friday - The Launch: We’ll have a video handover session on navigating your site before we officially launch.

I’ll take you on a tour through the backend of your Squarespace site. I’ll teach you how to use the site, update and edit it, as well as focus on areas that are especially important for you. I’ll record this lesson so that you can refer back to it. I’ll also put a link to the lesson on a hidden page on your website.

The site is then live, ready for you to share and promote!

Here are some answers to common queries.

  • No, I believe different sites have different requirements and some CMS platforms may be a better fit based on those requirements. I’ll help you choose the right platform to build a beautifully designed website with robust functionality while being easy to maintain.

  • I offer 1 week and 2 week build slots based on the scope of your website build. You must prepare your site content in advance of the design process. I’ll help guide you through gathering your site content but I recommend booking your design slot several weeks in advance to give you time to gather all your content. You must also be available to provide feedback during your build slot.

  • Yes, if you are an existing Squarespace user I would be happy to help elevate your website to the next level. Whether you require a full redesign, want to upgrade to Squarespace 7.1 from Squarespace 7.0 or simply integrate new functionalities or features using custom code, I can help.

  • If you don’t have your own photographs, I can assist with sourcing stock photography for your website. I also work with a number of excellent photographers in Dublin, Ireland and will put you in touch with the best one for your requirements.

  • I take a 50% deposit to book you into my design calendar. The balance is paid upon the site going live/project completion. Pricing information can be found here. You can schedule a free consultation call here.
